Pre historic age is the one about which we find no written records by the people of that age / era.

SOCIAL ACTIVITIES
On the basis of social activities the prehistoric age have been divided into three parts.
3. Lower Paleolithic period.4. Upper Paleolithic period.5. Neolithic period.

Economic activities have been divided into three categories:

FOOD GATHERING PERIOD
The food gathering (Paleolithic) period is roughly from 1,00,000 - 200,000 B.C.

Their equipments were made from stone, very simple in shape and coarse.

HUNTING PERIOD
Hunting period (Mesolithic) is roughly from 200,000 - 3,000 B.C.

from deer’s horn and sea shells. They were used as the point of a lance and an arrow,

TILLING PERIOD
Cultivation period (Neolithic) is roughly taken from 3,000 - 600 B.C.
Permanent settlement and living in a group. Stone tools were made more smooth and much
sharper.

TILLING PERIOD
