CHARACTERISTICS of DE STIJL:
-ideas of spiritual harmony and order- simplified visual compositions- straight lines – vertical, horizontal & diagonal- square & rectangular forms- primary colours – red, blue and yellow- primary values – black, white and grey- asymmetrical- geometrical form and shape with very technical construction
