Introduction
Lewis and Clark were part of an expedition that changed the course of the United States forever. On this expedition, they mapped the landscape, observed the plants and animals there, and reached the Pacific Ocean. This expedition’s main objective was to find a Northwest Passage. When they found there was no such passageway, they continued to move towards the Pacific Ocean by land, recording observations as they progressed westward. When they returned, they presented their findings to President Jefferson for further study.

Conclusion
This has affected our team by allowing us to understand the difficulty the U.S. had to go through before becoming what we see today. Understanding this concept helps build up more respect for the U.S. Respect for the country is very important, because if you cannot stand up for your own country, there does not seem to be anything you can stand up forMy team and I understood that we must respect this country more since the U.S. has gone through so much to make all in the U.S. happy citizens.
