Solid Jello
Solid Jello initially gained fame through his incredible fitness videos, most of which are
only available through private sales and the underground market. As one of The
Warlocks earliest disciples, and also Kenny’s step-cousin, Solid transformed himself into
a VWAP Guru and a ThinkOrSwim programmer extraordinaire.
Solid Jello spends his days ruling the charts and purveying the wonders of VWAP and
anti-VWAP to the people.
Solid Jello’s prognostication abilities are said to rival those of 8BALL.

With only a few old photos to go by, many have sought, unsuccessfully, to
determine the true identity of 8BALL.
8BALL is a consummate prognosticator, a master of the markets, and a
valuable friend and weapon to have at your side.

Penny G
Penny G is a master of Penny stocks, and a connoisseur of fine brews. He
likes a good craft beer with a hard pour and a bit of head, just as much as
he likes chart setups with a Kardashian bottom.
Kenny used not to trade penny stocks, and Kenny was skeptical of Penny,
until Penny brought Kenny three penny stock winners in a row. After
that, Kenny was no longer skeptical of Penny, and Kenny would trade
many penny stocks with Penny.
Penny G loves to trade weekly options - especially
during earnings and trading them around VWAP
which, of course, he learned from Kenny, The
Warlock.

fatty is Kenny’s illegitimate son, and one of the earliest disciples of The Warlock, joining him trading in 2007. Contrary to
some rumours, fatty is not a fatty, but has been known to enjoy a fatty – now and then.

time – possibly while enjoying a fatty.

Smike - StereoMike
Smike is a shady character from The Warlock’s past, a co-conspirator, with the two
of them frequently getting into shenanigans, and often being thrown out of
respectable, and also less than respectable, establishments. In retrospect, The
Warlock and Smike are both thankful that cell phone cameras weren’t around
years ago and, as such, much of their history remains undocumented.

Thanos43 is an ancient character of myth and legend. Rumours are that he has some relationship to The Warlock – yet
to be confirmed. They are said to bear a striking resemblance to each other.

Paradoxically, this Viper has a history of close friendships with
Andalusian horses and may have also once been a flight
instructor.
Viper will help you with your ThinkOrSwim charting setup and
questions, and so much more.

Fazoon came to life in the fall of 2020 and has been Kenny’s helper ever since. Fazoon has taken on a number of forms,
often ephemeral. Some suspect Fazoon is Kenny’s Kuato.
As of May 2021, Fazoon has become a little more phemeral, and may at times go by HB Fazoon or Hazoon. Please retain
the highest level of respect for this rare creature, engaging in a delicate undertaking.
Going into July 2021, the Fazoon collective was born – to either assimilate or be assimilated by The Warlock. The
experiment is ongoing.

A few basics…
• VWAP – our trades all happen around VWAP, one way or another, but note carefully that you don’t just buy or
short as soon as a ticker goes through VWAP. Pay attention to Kenny and learn when to buy.
• Earnings reversals – The highest success rate VWAP trade.
• Blue line to orange line – Blue line is the standard VWAP & orange line (yellow on some charts) is the multi-day
VWAP, normally anchored to the pre-market open of yesterday. Or the day prior to your timeframe start.
• No holding overnight – Kenny doesn’t advocate holding overnight – stay liquid.
• Don’t hold through earnings – The best trades are the earnings gap fades/reversals – in the morning after
earnings – often in the pre-market, before the regular market open.
Time
All times are Eastern time, same as the major US stock exchanges – NASDAQ, NYSE, etc.

Structure of the weekday
The HTB chatroom is open 24 hours per day, and the speakers and schedule varies from day-to-day. You may find
members chatting in the room at any time, but here is the typical schedule, as of August 6, 2021.
• 4:00 AM – 7:00 AM – Pre-market opens. VWAPians drift into the room.
• 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM – If fatty is around, he’ll often roll in on voice before or around this timeframe. Pre-market
trading on reversals often starts here.
• 8:00 AM – 8:30 AM – Kenny usually shows up in this timeframe, to prep. for the 8:30 simulcast and do pre-
market trading.
• 8:30 AM – 9:00 AM – Money Morning Live simulcast – go to MML for video of Kenny.
• 9:00 AM – 9:30 AM – HTB room chat
• 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM – Money Morning Live simulcast, “This is VWAP”.
• 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM – Kenny wraps up by 11:00 or 11:30 and Solid Jello & fatty usually step in.
• 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM – Kenny simulcast on Raging Bull.
• 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM – Usually Solid Jello and fatty

SCHMOOZE
Between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM Thursday is the start of the weekly SCHMOOZE – usually the earlier start if guests are
scheduled. Meet with guests, talk charts and options trade ideas for Friday, then rock out to Stereo Mike (Smike) from
10:00 to 11:00 PM. (Sep. 22, 2021 - Smike has been on hiatus recently, but we always have great tunes.)
Sundays
The futures markets open at 6PM ET on Sunday, and Kenny sometimes drops in to look at the /NQ futures, which is the
equivalent of the QQQ. He could show up right at 6 PM, anytime up to 10 PM, or not at all.
Saturday Masterclass (Learning Hospital)
Actually, the main HTB chat room is The Learning Hospital, but every six weeks or so, Kenny holds an intensive care
session on Saturday 12-noon to 5:00 ish, and Sunday noon to a few hours later. HTB members with 4-month+
memberships have access to all the Masterclasses that occur during their membership period. You can also pay for the
class and get a 30-day room membership.
The Masterclass is conducted in a different room than the chatroom. Eligible members will get an email from The
Minotaur on Wednesday or Thursday prior to the class, providing login details.

What is A Day’s Pay?
Fundamental to the HTB trading philosophy is making a day’s pay. “Day’s pay and walk away.”
Kenny’s colleague - Made day’s pay – went home.
Whatever you personally need to live a comfortable life that you’re accustomed to is a day’s pay for you. It will be
different for everyone.

Multi-day VWAP (Anchored VWAP)
Regular VWAP is calculated starting with the pre-market open of “today”. The multi-day VWAP you normally see on
Kenny’s charts (“orange line” or “yellow line”) is anchored to the pre-market open of the previous trading day. So VWAP
and the multi-day VWAP will be exactly the same for yesterday, but at (typically) 4AM today, VWAP will reset to the pre-
market opening price, while the multi-day VWAP will continue from yesterday.

Often, Kenny and Solid Jello will also reference VWAPs that are anchored days, weeks, months, and years in the past,
showing significant levels of support and resistance. (5-day VWAP, 3-month VWAP, 10-year VWAP, lifetime VWAP, etc.)
One-minute, multi-day, VWAP reversal
“The only trade you ever need to make.” (See, “Songs of VWAP and more”.)
Hourly VWAP
Volume weighted average price, based on the past 60 minutes of trading data. As the day progresses, fixed anchor
VWAPs become less and less responsive, while the hourly VWAP remains responsive to just the past hour of trading
data.
Anti-VWAP
On a blue-sky breakout, you have no references for support and resistance. Anti-VWAP reflects various multi-day
(anchored) VWAPs onto the other side of VWAP. These levels have been demonstrated to provide support and

Gap-and-fade or Gap-and-go
Gap and fade is the traditional VWAP reversal play, where a stock gaps up or down on earnings or some other catalyst,
then reverses to fill the gap. This is typically a high-success trading strategy crossing VWAP.
Gap and go occurs when a stock gaps on the catalyst news, then keeps going in the same direction. This is a tougher
play. Watch for a return to VWAP and a VWAP break.

If you made more than A Day’s Pay during the week, then you may wish to gamble some on options expiry, Friday.
On options expiry day – Friday, for most options – theta, the time-value of the option, is at a minimum. Therefore, you
have the greatest chance of benefiting from price changes in the underlying security.
Breaking news (April 2021) – For a few years, SPY options have had Monday, Wednesday, and Friday expiries. As of May
2021, QQQ options will also have Monday, Wednesday, and Friday expiry dates. That means there is potential for three
lotto days per week, in both the SPY and the QQQs.

SCHMOOZE
The Thursday night SCHMOOZE takes place in the HTB trading chat room. Kenny and friends originally started the
SCHMOOZE to bring like-minded traders together, to discuss options expiry day opportunities for Friday. As with any
good evening gathering of traders, this would include a few “adult” beverages and possibly some other related
substances.
Like-minded individuals also discuss common interests, such as guns and weed.

growing ever since. In late 2020, Kenny asked his top-notch DJ friend, Stereo Mike – or SMike, as we now call him – to
spin some tunes to warm up for the SCHMOOZE, so SMike has been doing that for an hour before each SCHMOOZE and
Smike has been killing it with his mixes. As of spring, 2021, SMike's DJ segment has switched to 10 PM, allowing for
more sober discussion early on, and to let everyone party into the night.

Why am I getting alerts for another user? (How should I choose my userid?)
When you post a message, you can alert or ping a user in the chat by clicking on their userid in the chat or by typing “@”
followed by their userid. But try to choose a userid that should be unique, because multiple people can be pinged with
one reference.
As an example, if your userid is “Pete”, then @Pete will ping you, but so will anything that includes @Pete, such as:
• @Peter
• @Peterson
• @Petey
• @Pete Russell
Similarly, @Pete will also ping anyone with the userid “P” or “Pe” or “Pet”.
Choose a userid long enough to be unique, so you don’t get pinged by other users.
Why did the chat clear?
For anyone who hasn't noticed, this chat clears at midnight Saturday and again at 1:05AM Sunday morning. If you want
to save some chat history, click the gear icon above this chat and then the floppy disc icon to the right of the search
area. Make sure you scroll back far enough to find what you want, before saving. As you scroll back more, more of the
old chat messages will load.
Where are recordings?
Click the 3 lines (hamburger) at the top left of the screen. Click on Archives, then Recordings. A new window tab will
open. Right-click on each file and "Save link as..." or "Save as..." to save the files to your computer's drive.
• For recordings made in the training room, you have to access the archives in the training room.
• For recordings made in the trading room, you have to access the archives in the trading room.
I’m not on the right screen.
Don’t see the right screen? Click on the pulldown near the top right of the HTB Window, and select whose screen you
want to view. e.g. “The Warlock”, “SolidJello”, etc.
Ping someone with your message
If you want to “ping” someone, when you mention them in the chat, click on their userid to get it into the text box when
writing your message. You can type their userid as well, but it needs to match exactly, except for upper/lower case.
Also, ensure you have at least one space after their name.
Is day-trading profitable

Click the gear image at the top of the chat. Type your text in the search area and type <Enter>.
Downloading the Chat
Click the gear image at the top of the Chat. Click the small floppy disc item at the right to download “recent” Chat
entries.
To download earlier Chat entries, click the Gear icon at the top-right of the chat area, and ensure “Always scroll to
bottom” is unchecked. Then scroll up in the chat to get as many previous entries as you like, or until you get to “Chat
Cleared”. The more you scroll up, the more previous entries will load. Then, click the floppy disk icon as previously
described.
How do I put a <return> in my Chat message?
The short answer is you can’t. People want to use <shift><return> or <ctl> return to do this, but the functionality is not
there. Anything with <return> will just post your message.
How do people put animated gifs in the chat?
Click the landscape image to the right of the text entry area, then type what you want in the search area at the top of
the pop-up window. Type in your search text and type <return>. Double-click on an image to see a full-size preview of
the gif, then click OK to send it.
How do I find the emoticon I want? There are so many.
Click the happy face to the right of the text entry area, then type in the Search area at the top of the window that opens.
