Policy:

The purpose of this policy is to ensure that guestschildren are well looked after during

their parents absence.

Responsibility:

Executive Housekeeper

Procedure:

1. The Housekeeping Department is responsible for offering the babysitting service.

2. A list of all babysitters available with their respective mobile number will be submitted

to Front Office.

3. All babysitters offered to guests will be current associates of Swiss-Belhotel Seef

Bahrain.

4. Babysitting facilities are subject to availability.

5. The minimum duration of babysitting service will be two (2) hours, and a maximum of

two (2) children per babysitter.

6. A babysitting request requires a 24hrs advance notice.

7. A confirmation will be sent to the guest within one (1) hour of receiving the pre-

booking form.

8. In the event of a cancellation within two (2) hours of requested time, a charge

equivalent to one (1) hour will be applicable.

9. The pre-booking babysitting form and disclaimer will be signed by the guest before

the service commences.

10. The parent(s) must provide a direct contact number during the babysitting period.

11. A meal must be provided to the babysitter by the parent(s) after four (4) consecutive

hours of service.

12. The babysitter must be in her work uniform while performing babysitting service.

13. The babysitter must perform the babysitting service inside the guest room unless

otherwise stated.
