This qualification covers workers who work as basic level massage therapists. It provides skills in therapeutic relaxation massage including basic health assessment and treatment and may be used by people working:• within a clinic or in their own clinic• in an aged care facility• in a health service• in a spa facility or• in a palliative care facility or hospital.
Further Study PathwaysAfter achieving this Certificate IV course learners may continue their studies in:• HLT50307 Diploma of Remedial Massage• HLT51612 Diploma of Nursing (Enrolled-Division 2 Nursing)

Entry requirementsIndividuals would need to fulfil the following requirements:• Aged 18 years or above • Successful completion of Year 10 or the equivalent level of
study • Successful completion of SCEI’s Language Literacy and
Numeracy (LLN) Indicator • Mature aged who have diverse academic, work and life
experiences are encouraged to enrol. The definition of a mature aged student for SCEI’s purposes is a person over
