Vocalists Katy Raucher and Mangus come together for an evening of jazz and blues, in tribute to the great Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong. Katy's sophisticated and emotive vocal pallet creates a captivating and engaging performance, paired perfectly with Mangus's own rich, growling vocals. Drawing from the historic recording sessions, and with the help of Randal Muir on keys, Oliver Plapp on bass, and Damian Oliver-Black on drums, they have created an evening to remember, in honour of the great jazz musicians themselves.

A unique style of outsider-jazz, folk and blues, evolved and homogenised in the Island isolation of Tasmania. Get your head around that one. These guys were a hit at Hot August Jazz.
