Casual clothesI will dress my female artist in casual clothes as I believe it will appeal to my target audience as they can relate to them as well as be fascinated by their fashion tastes and what they choose to wear. My model will be wearing jewellery as it is often associated with the hip-hop genre I am basing my music magazine on. The clothes will also be colourful as this will ensure it catches the audiences attention an it reinforces the hip-hop genre of music

PropsBy incorporating a microphone my model looks like a music artist this will ensure the potential customers fully understand what the magazine offers as a microphone connotes music and singing.

My model will be shown wearing headphones as many young people are often wearing headphones as it is the latest trend amongst the youths therefore by incorporating headphones in my music magazine it will appeal to my young target audience.

Poses since my magazine is called Deuces I would like my model to show the peace symbol as it reinforces the name of magazine. Also this is a popular pose amongst the youths therefore by incorporating this symbol this will appeal to and attract my target audience.

I would like to use a low angle shot looking up at my artist in the studio as it reinforces and reminds the audience that this is a music artist. Also it shows the artist at work which many people would like to see an inside view of the artist in the studio.

Hair styles My model will have wavy hair as many popular artists from this hip-hop and R&B genre do therefore my target market will easily be able to identify the type of music my model produces.

Shoes My model might be wearing high heels as they are very feminine and many famous female artists wear these.

For my contents page my artist may be wearing trainers as it reinforces the hip-hop and R&B genre. They are also colourful and vibrant so can catch the audiences attention.

Mise-en-scene NOT used

Formal clothing

I will dress my model in formal clothing as it will not attract my young target audience as they prefer simple yet stylish clothes they can relate to. Also formal wear dose not relate to the R&B and hip-hop genre I centre my magazine on this would leave the audience confused on what type of music the magazine offers.

Guitar & Drum set

I will not use a guitar or drum set as it connotes rock and it might mislead the audience into thinking my music magazine is based on rock music instead of hip-hop and R&B.
