We are ‘ India ‘ during Harmony Day celebrations !In India each year there is a festival called Holi. This is celebrated by throwing powdered colour everywhere to celebrate the coming of spring. On Thursday 4 April we ask that children please come dressed in white clothes as we will be throwing water colour (no powders, non-toxic and will wash out of clothing) on each other to replicate the Holi Festival for Harmony Day celebrations.

Safety BriefingParents and Carers, within your enrolment pack or at the Parent Partnership Interview we asked if you would please read the Casino West Little Jarjums Preschool Safety Briefing pamphlet. We trust that you have had time to now read this and ask if you could please confirm this by signing the document in the preschool foyer. For your convenience, this can also be confirmed via the e-forms on the Casino West Public School Skoolbag app.

Our ProgramJust a reminder that families can access the program and comment through Kinderloop. You can also view the program each morning on the whiteboard in the classroom.

Dental Assessment Consent Forms BNMAC Richmond Valley. On Wednesday 8 May and Tuesday 14 May 2019 (Term2) the Aboriginal Medical Service will be visiting the preschool to conduct Dental checks. Shortly Aboriginal students will receive a consent form. We encourage you to return this permission as soon as possible. This is a free service and a great opportunity to have an assessment completed on your child’s dental health. Please do not hesitate to speak with staff if you would like further information.

Group A students can participate in the Easter Hat Parade if you are able to attend the parade with your child. We hope to see all our preschool children there!
