DAILY ITINERARY

Thursday, Nov. 29 Arrive in New York City this afternoon and transfer by motor coach to the Hampton Inn Times Square North, which is just blocks from Central Park, and a short walk from Times Square and 5th Avenue; in the middle of it all!

This evening, you have the option to join your hosts for an orientation walk to Fifth Avenue, Rockefeller Center and the Time Square area. Points of interest in route include St. Patrick’s Cathedral, the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree, Tiffany’s, Saks 5th Ave. and more! The rest of your evening is free to explore the wonders of midtown Manhattan. You can choose to skip this and take in an optional Broadway show.

Friday, Nov. 30 After breakfast this morning, enjoy a New York City tour by motor coach. Our step on guide will point out sights along the way including Lincoln Center, Harlem, Flatiron district, and more! Enjoy a photo stop in Central Park and a brief facility and snack stop at Chelsea Market. The tour concludes at the 9/11 Memorial Plaza & Museum where you will take a self-guided tour of the reflecting pools and the 9/11Museum.

Late afternoon, return to hotel for free time to explore more of NYC, take a carriage ride in Central Park, shop, rest or have dinner. Tonight, join your hosts for the 20-minute walk to Lincoln Center and enjoy a performance of the Christmas classic, “The Nutcracker!” George Balanchine’s timeless tale of a little girl and her Nutcracker doll features a Christmas tree that grows from 12 feet to 40 feet tall, 90 dancers and dazzling effects that make each performance magical!

Saturday, Dec. 1 Your day is free to continue exploring, shopping and sightseeing after breakfast.

As a pre-booked option, your hosts will take you via subway to Battery Park, where you board the ferry for the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island! This optional excursion may take approximately 3-5 hours depending on your stops.

This afternoon, see a matinee Broadway performance or take the subway to Macy’s and the Empire State Building, the Museum of Natural History or other New York attractions.

This evening, enjoy dinner on your own before joining your hosts for a walk to the Imperial Theatre to see Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Carousel!

Sunday, Dec. 2 After breakfast, meet your hosts in the lobby and walk to the landmark Radio City Music Hall for the morning performance of the “Radio City Christmas Spectacular,” featuring the Radio City Rockettes!

Celebrate the magic of Christmas with a 3D ride through New York City from the North Pole, Santa and his reindeer, ice skaters, dancing teddy bears and a live nativity!

After the performance, we will enjoy brunch at Brasserie 8 1/2 on West 57th Street. The rest of your afternoon and evening are at your leisure. Perhaps you’ll choose to visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art, Union Square Christmas Market, the USS Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, or see another Broadway show; the possibilities are endless!

Monday, Dec. 3 Enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning. On your own, catch a live performance of your favorite talk show, take a free guided tour of Central Park, do last-minute shopping and enjoy lunch as you say goodbye to the many sights and sounds of the Big Apple.

Board the bus in the early afternoon to transfer to the airport for our return flights home.
