One very normal day I went to work at the Unknown Sea Creatures and as soon as I arrived the Manager, Mr Crow rushed up to me and said, “Holly, I need you for another case in the Pacific Ocean, it has to be done urgently otherwise we might lose the creature.” Mr Crow looked like he was about to have a heart attack, so I quickly gave him a drink and calmed him down then said, “I will be on my way then,” and I was out of there.

Soon enough I was in the tiny, little submarine and on my way to the Pacific Ocean. The problem was that Mr Crow had not given me any more information other than ‘it is in the Pacific Ocean.’ By then I had started to freak out. I was getting deeper and deeper and it was getting darker and darker in that interesting but scary place. But before I could think any further, I heard a rustling noise that sounded a bit like rustling paper. I was frozen stiff, and then I quickly pulled myself together and put on my bright green, sparkly snorkelling gear.

I had a really scary thought that whatever that thing was that was making the sound might have been the exact same creature I had been looking for. I quickly pushed the thought out of my mind before I could frighten myself any

more. I must have been as crazy as a dog with rabies because I decided to set out and find the creature. I climbed out though the mini hidey hole at the top at the top of the submarine, and out into the cold waters of the Pacific Ocean.

I started swimming towards where the noise had started in the dark green seaweed. I froze, listened and then kept on swimming closer and closer. Now I was inside the gooey, slimy, dark green seaweed. I looked ahead and saw a very weird looking creature with a human head, huge owl eyes, fluffy koala looking ears, ant antennas that were long and shiny as a baby’s bottom, and dirty brown hair tied into the messiest high ponytail tied up with seaweed. I looked at the bottom half and saw a shark or big fish, I couldn’t tell. Her arms were frog like and smooth like a ripe apple and the colour of a green apple. She was wearing a blue shirt. She was smiling a huge toothy smile.

I didn’t know what to do so I grabbed her by her slimy frog arm, and still holding onto her arm I took her back to the submarine. I wasn’t sure if we would both fit. We squeezed in and we were on our way, out of that scary place. On the way I decided to give her a name, so I called her Sharky. Soon enough we were back at my office in the USC. My boss came in and said, “Well done, you have finished the job.”
