Introduction

Hello it is me, Alex. We are branching out to all new editions including this. Now, this will be an Alex and Adam

project because Chris and the workers are doing other editions at the moment.Adam will also be doing other

editions. Also, this will be Hollywood Star on eco only! Sure, the other editions will have eco pages and eco

stories but this one is just eco and will include stuff like what the eco club is doing and all major (and some minor) eco stories. Right now I am going to say join the eco club and if it is teachers reading this please help out in it too.

Join the eco club!

As I already said in the introduction we need more members in the eco club. We don’t even have any grade ones! In order to spread all of this eco love faster, we need more members and if you are in the eco club please ask for more people to sign up and if you are a teacher ask your kids to sign up! We need bigger numbers or the message of an eco friendly world won’t spread throughout the school.

Global warming is increasing

Us kids right now are living fine but as we grow up, global warming is increasing and this earth and our lives will get worse over time so we need to stop it and we will… actually that is not true because even if we switch to electric cars and oil companies stop trying to get money poor countries will still use the cheaper one-gas cars so we either have to do two things. One is giving money to the poor countries but the cruel dictators will take all the money for themselves so that leads us to solution number two we have to start buying electric cars now which is already starting to happen! However, there is one problem and that is they are kinda pricey. I know that cars are not the only things that are causing pollution but they are a major contribution so I talked about them first.Other sources of pollution are factories,burning forests,polluted rivers

and oceans and oil spills from huge ships at open sea.

Global Warming By Alex and Chris

Global warming is so bad It will make us OH so sad! 

 All the ice is moving 

We should not be grooving  

We are not polluting  If rocks are parachuting 

  The calefactions’ rising, 

And average is surprising Polar bears are sinking 

what are humans thinking?  

Stop driving gasoline cars   Or we will end up at mars

 Eco friendly commute is public transit

Humans should all use energy efficient light  So our problems don’t go full might

Donate unwanted t-shirts to the eco club

Please donate any t-shirts to the eco club. We will be upcycling them into reusable bags and you can use it for the December basaar that is coming up so I will say it again please donate any unwanted t-shirts so we can use them for an environmental purpose and also no pants allowed!

Greta Thunberg

Greta Thunberg has been leading a lot of recent climate change protests and strikes. She is such a big help to the environment that she even has a new type of cockroach named after her! She started to skip school to protest in front of the Swedish parliament building. Soon she started to spread these protests around the world and she is now in Canada! She has even met the prime minister Justin Tredeau! She talked to him but started to criticise afterward. Seems like Greta does not like Tredaeu!

Oil Spills

Oil spills are caused when ships called oil tankers crash into underwater reefs and rocks.All or most of the oil in the ship will spill into the sea or ocean and could injure or kill animals.In 1989 an oil tanker named Exxon Valdez hit a

reef in Prince William Sound in Alaska U.S.A and 11 million gallons of crude oil poured into the sea and killed

hundreds of animals.

After Sometimes the oil tankers catch on fire because oil is highly flammable and when it burns down all the oil enters into the water killing tons of animals. An oil tanker on fire.A fireboat can be seen fighting the fire.
