    M a s s e s T h i s W e e k Epiphany 2020 Dear Parishioners and Friends of Holy Angels,

Each of the five Sundays of this first month of the New Year

I will expand on one new blessing we have in Holy Angels

Parish. Today, I choose one that is evocative of the title given

to the third great Solemnity we celebrate in Christmastide, namely today’s high feast.

While there are many things to celebrate at Holy Angels

Parish in this New Year just begun, one is particularly fasci-

nating and an epiphany of sorts. It made the top headline in

an international Catholic website this past month: the 360-

degree, virtual tour of our adoration chapel and its surround-

ing area that we now have on our website.

One can go to the Vatican website and take a virtual tour of

the papal and pontifical basilicas like St. Peter’s Vatican Basilica or the Sistine Chapel. Now one can go on our web-

site, go to the tab “About” and under that tab scroll down to

“Virtual Tour”. By clicking on that link one sees the interi-

or—and more—of Our Lady Queen of the Holy Angels Adora-

tion Chapel. Currently, as it is a fresh and innovative addition to our website, the link for the virtual tour is also featured on

the front homepage of our website.

Why did I make the claim that this novel way to see the

adoration chapel and surrounding area is “an epiphany of

sorts”? Simply because it is a true epiphany for those who

come for the first time to understand the deep, Catholic,

spiritual foundation of the chapel by clicking on each of the

blue-framed white circles (or media tags) one encounters throughout one’s tour. In looking closely at what each blue-

framed white circle holds, by clicking on each one of them,

and by scrolling down on the right side bar of each to read it

in its entirety, one deepens one’s religious knowledge. By

reading them all, one learns more and more about the theology that went into conceptualizing, creating, building,

and adorning the chapel, piazzetta, and adjacent garden.

We would like to thank the company, Nuvo360, who made

possible at no expense to Holy Angels Parish the 360 degree

virtual tour of Our Lady Queen of Holy Angels Adoration

Chapel, the San Michelangelo Piazzetta in front of it, the

corridor both connecting it to the main church and also inter-

secting with the Alleluia Cortile Meditation Garden, as well as the narthex of our main church.

    Compliments of Nuvo360

Joyous Epiphany blessings of Our Savior and Christ Child

are wished for each one of you! And may the New Year be for

each of us a continual epiphany unfolding for us the manifold graces of our most loving God.
