There will be an ushers meeting on Tues-day, March 15, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the Rectory.

Cardinal Dolan is hosting a “Regional Day of Mer-cy” as part of the Jubilee Year of Mercy on Satur-day, March 12, at Our Lady of Pity Church, 1616 Richmond Avenue, Staten Island. You are all invit-ed to attend this celebration, which begins at 2:30 p.m., and will include reflections from a missionary of mercy, witness talks to the power of mercy, Eu-charistic adoration, confessions, and a talk on mer-cy by the cardinal. The cardinal will close the day by celebrating Mass at 5:30 p.m., and there will be a light reception to follow. Please come and expe-rience the power of the Lord’s mercy and learn how we can become instruments of mercy in the lives of others as well. The event is bilingual, and all are most welcome.

St. Clare Employment Group Schedule

April 21, 2016 (Thursday) -- Holly Block, Assistant Director for Recruitment, College of Staten Island - “ What Employ-ers Look for in the Hiring Process” This meeting will take place in the Presentation Center Dining Room - 169 Lindenwood Road, Great Kills, 10308 - starting at 7:30 p.m.

We will continue to provide one-on-one employment ad-visement by appointment. Our Parish retreat starts March 13th and runs through March 16th. Anyone interested in attending can also call St. Clare’s Rectory.

SPORTING OPPORTUNITY According to CYO policy, the St. Clare Track team is al-lowed to recruit athletes from neighboring parishes that do not offer a similar program. To this end, we would like to invite any interested children grades K – 8 boys and girls, to register for the outdoor track and field season. This will take place March 8

th during our normal practice

St. Joseph’s Guild of Blessed Sacrament Church is sponsoring a bus to attend the Chrism Mass on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Cost is $25.00. Are you a good listener? Caring? University Hospice is a non-progit organization that provides quality, compassionate care at the end of life. This care involves a team of professionals and volunteers who address emotional, social and spiritual needs of the patients and their families. University Hospice is recruiting those interested in becoming a hospice volunteer. Volunteers are needed in various areas such as, visiting patients in their homes, nursing facilities, or in the hospital.
