    The Office for Religious Education invites you to attend Catechetical Day on March 21, 2020 at St. Thomas More Academy with Bishop W. Francis Malooly. Catechetical Day allows the opportunity to cele-brate those who have been giving effective wit-ness for years and are living the call within their religious education programs, families, and the larger community. Directors/Coordinators of Religious Education and Catechists will be hon-ored for anniversary years of service. These years are: 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35+. This year's Catechetical Theme is "Stay With Us." Bob McCarty, D. Min. is the keynote speak-er for the event.     Just a friendly reminder about snow and icing conditions: tune into Operation Snowflake on WJBR an/or WSTW for all closings. We follow the Christina School District closings and will be closed if schools are closed or have an early dismissal during storms. We will also notify you via website, Flocknote, and emails as well. If your class is on the weekend, we will do the same and put the notice of WSTW and WJBR time permitting. Be safe out there! If you feel uncomfortable to drive in the weather, please stay home. Your safety is most important!

    Something new is coming to RE: Drop-In Sunday RE! We are piloting a program for our young friends ages 3 (potty trained) to Kindergarten during the 10 am Mass. If you

    are interested, simply stop by the Parish Hall and ‘drop-in” to join our RE group for a session about our faith. Children will hear the Word of God, learn a few points about the reading, and do a small craft to reinforce the reading. Great opportunity for them to enjoy their faith in the company of friends their age! Free Will donation will be available. Check us out! Hope to see you there!     Adult Faith Formation - Are you interested in future adult faith ideas and planning? Save the Dates: Vespers and Soup and Speaker will be held on March 8, 15, and 29th in the Parish Hall starting at 5:30pm in the Church. Soup and Speaker Series will begin with a soup dinner from 6-8pm. Please contact the RE office for additional infor-mation. Signups for series are located on the Gather-ing Space table. We hope you will join us!

    Soup Needed for speaker dates! Have a delicious soup recipe that can fill a large crock pot? Can you make it and bring it to our hall by 3pm day of? Contact 302-368-8976 and let us know what you are making! No crock pot? No problem! We have you covered!

    YOUTH MINISTRY: Girls Lockin for 5/6th Graders is coming in March! We will also be looking for peer leaders and adult vol-unteers to help us! More info to follow.

    SAVE THE DATE: VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL IS JUNE 22-26TH! All Aboard! The Railway awaits you!!! Signups for volunteer positions and partici-pants registrations will be available week of February 10th. Signup now to reserve your spot.

    Sacramental Prep! We are still in need of

    sponsors for our RE Sacra-mental Prep students. You can sponsor a child whose family requested a financial exemption for this year’s

    tuition. No amount is too small and will be put towards their program fees and books. Contact our RE office for additional information and payment options. Thank you in advance for your consideration and generosity.

    First Eucharist 2020 A Parent meeting was held on

    February 3. If your child is expect-ing to receive the sacrament in May, and you did not attend the meeting, please contact the RE of-fice by February 10 for materials and meeting schedule.

    Confirmation Registration is officially closed!

    Covenant Mass with our parishioners will be held on March 22nd at 12 noon Mass. All candidates and spon-sors are expected to attend. If sponsor is unable to at-tend, please make sure to bring a parent for Mass and session to follow.

    Our next Session will be held on Sunday, March 22nd following the Covenant Mass in our hall. Sponsor or parents are expected to attend. Check out our website for up to date information regarding our program.
