The Month of the Rosary
Many of us have a great devotion to The Virgin Mary. The Mother of God is a very
powerful intercessor. Each time we present ourselves before her, she takes us to her Son because
all power and glory belongs to Him. She knows well the glory of her Son and wants to show us.
October is the month of the Rosary, a prayer attributed to the Holy Virgin; however this
prayer leads us to meditate on life, passion, crucifixion, and the glorious resurrection of Christ.
The Rosary leads us to meditate on our salvation.
We dedicate this month to pray the Rosary because we must never forget everything He
did for our salvation. For this reason all glory and praise belong to Jesus.
Although the Holy Mass is the prayer over all the prayers we must think of Christ outside of the
Mass as well. We must always think about Jesus, not only to develop our relationship with him,
but to deepen our desire to be in heaven with him forever.
When we pray the Holy Rosary we meditate on all the sacrifices He made for Jesus for
our sake and we thank Him unceasingly for his tireless love. We give thanks to Mary for taking us
to contemplate the love of our life, Jeus Christ, our Lord and redeemer.

Misterios Dolorosos (martes y viernes) 1. La Oración de Nuestro Señor en el Huerto de Getsemaní. 2. La Flagelación del Señor. 3. La Coronación de espinas. 4. El Camino del Monte Calvario cargando la Cruz. 5. La Crucifixión y Muerte de Nuestro Señor. Misterios Gloriosos (miércoles y domingo) 1. La Resurrección del Señor. 2. La Ascensión del Señor. 3. La Venida del Espíritu Santo. 4. La Asunción de Nuestra Señora a los Cielos. 5. La Coronación de la Santísima Virgen.
Misterios Luminosos (jueves) 1. El Bautismo en el Jordán. 2. La autorrevelación en las bodas de Caná. 3.
