Platinum Plus Package Dwelling – Coverage ACan cover damages to your home’s physical structure.

Additional Replacement CostProvides an additional amount of insurance you may need to rebuild your house if your Coverage A amount is inadequate. The amount of coverage provided is a percentage of your Coverage A limit.

Coverage A Cash-Out OptionPays the lesser of replacement cost at the time of loss or Coverage A amount in the event that you elect not to rebuild after a total loss. Included

Other Structures – Coverage B Covers costs to pay for repair and/or rebuilding for damages to your detached garage, shed or other covered structures on the property.

Percentage of Dwelling Coverage The amount of coverage is a percentage of your Coverage A limit. 10%

Personal Property – Coverage C Can cover loss to your contents such as furniture, electronics, clothing and other household items.

Percentage of Dwelling Coverage The amount of coverage is a percentage of your Coverage A limit. 75%

Contents Replacement CostCan cover costs to pay replacement value on property damaged by a covered loss, with no deduction for depreciation, subject to your policy limits and deductibles. Special limits apply to certain items such as jewelry, watches and furs.

Loss of Use – Coverage D Can cover the additional costs you incur for housing and other living expenses if a covered loss makes your house uninhabitable and you have to move out temporarily while it’s being repaired.

Percentage of Dwelling CoverageThe amount of coverage is a percentage of your Coverage A limit. 50%

Additional Coverages Lock ReplacementCan cover expenses you incur in changing the locks on your “residence premises” when your keys have been stolen. The theft of keys must be reported to the police for this additional coverage to apply.

Debris Removal Can cover the costs associated with removing debris as a result of a covered loss. The amount of coverage is a percentage of your Coverage A limit. 100%

Tree Removal Can cover the costs to remove tree(s) that have fallen on the house, covered structures or those that have fallen and are blocking access to the property. $1,000 per occurrence

Fire Department Service Charges $1,000

Food Spoilage Coverage $5,000

Rebuilding to Code (Ordinance or Law) Can cover the increased costs necessary to comply with the enforcement of a building ordinance or law. The amount of coverage provided is a percentage of your Coverage A limit.
