• The advantage of the kick-off yearWe believe you will make the best decision about the instructional and fiscal benefit of this tool if you have it to use without risk in 2013-2014

• Users will lead the wayWe expect some districts, schools and particularly teachers to run out ahead and point the way for others. We will all learn from them.

• Phased in ApproachWe don’t expect you will use all of the tools at once. Instead you’ll have time to test it out and plan accordingly.

• To sign up for Home Base Biweekly Newsletter, please email home_base_ready@dpi.nc.gov and ask to be placed on the newsletter listserv.

• Biweekly email updates continue, but archives are located on the Home Base website at http://www.ncpublicschools.org/homebase/updates/

• Questions will be logged into Remedy for assistance

• Support personnel provide the answer, research or assign to the appropriate area for resolution
