Workgroup (MSHOME) on all computersRouter/Access Point at “Default” settings! Router/Access point “wired” to a computer

Client/wireless computer! If hardware installed in computer, turn on! Or install Notebook Card! Or insert USB Adapter! Install hardware drivers (Plug and Play)

“Client” Computer

Open “My Network Places”

Select “View network connections”

Right click “Wireless Network Connection”

Select “Properties”

Note: “File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks”

Scroll Down

Note: “Show icon …..”

Select “Internet Protocol”Select “Properties”

Select “Wireless Networks” Tab

Note: “Use Windows to configure ….”

Select “Advanced” Button

Note: “Access point (infrastructure) networks only

Explore for Wireless Networks

Right click wireless icon

Select “View Available Wireless Networks”

Select “Refresh Network List”

Select Wireless Network “linksys”

Select “Connect” button

Select “Wireless Security” Tab

WPA! Passphrase (GrandCanyon)! Will need for “Client(s)”! Save Settings

Select “Administration”

Change “Router Password”! Save Settings
