Gift of Time

School Wide Field Trip to B & B Theatre

November 20, 2015

Dear Parents,

With the holiday season approaching, PTA would like to provide Davis Intermediate School teachers with a “Gift of Time” to show appreciation for all of the extra time and support they give our students. Arrange-ments have been made for Davis students to travel by WISD buses to the B & B Theatre in Wylie to watch Alvin and the Chipmunks, The Road Chip on December 18, 2015. The campus administration, paraprofession-als and PTA volunteers will be chaperoning this event. Teachers will remain on campus to engage in work related activities.

Our plan is for grade 5 to leave Davis Intermediate School at approximately 9:00a.m. and return around 11:30a.m. and grade 6 to leave at 9:30a.m. and return by 12:00p.m. We are requesting $5.00 to help offset the cost of the movie and transportation. Please send cash or checks made payable to Davis PTA. In addi-tion, we ask that you send your child with a sack lunch to be eaten upon our return.

Please sign the form below acknowledging your child’s participation. Permission forms and money need to be returned by Thursday, December 17 to your child’s homeroom teacher. If you have any questions or con-cerns, feel free to contact me at 972-429-3330.

Sincerely,

Barbara Rudolph, Principal Kay Pitzaferro, PTA President
