Notices and Reminders
The drop off location is in the front of the building. No students should be dropped off in the bus loop for safety reasons.
Upon entering the campus, you must go directly to the Front Office (Single Point of Entry), sign in and get a visitor pass. Visitors’ passes are only valid for one day. With so many people entering and exiting campus, it creates an unsafe environment and prohibits the faculty and staff from carrying out the responsibility of making sure that all children entering the Millennium campus are safe and secure.
Also, if you have a concern about your child, please call the office to make an appointment. The staff at Millennium is dedicated to making sure that your children have an effective school atmosphere. That cannot be carried out if there are several unscheduled visits. An appointment also assures that your needs concerning your child can be discussed and taken care of without any interruptions.
Dismissal is the most hectic part of the day. A request for early dismissal of your child must be made prior to 4:00 PM. After that time, we will be unable to call your child to the office.
Lastly, please be advised that there is no supervision for your child before 9:00 AM and after 5:00 PM unless he or she is registered in the Before/After Care Program. All transportation arrangements for your child should be made ahead of time. We do understand that emergencies do arise and will do our best to accommodate your needs. We are also asking that you do not call the school asking that messages be delivered to your child during class time. To ensure that communication is accurate please make sure that your child is aware of things before he or she leaves home in the morning.
These guidelines and procedures are not established to inconvenience anyone or to make you feel unwelcome at Millennium. They are simply necessary for the safety and wellbeing of every child entrusted in our care. Your understanding, cooperation, and assistance are greatly appreciated.

The TIP Social Studies Fair Project is here! This year, the Social Studies Department will lead the TIP Social Studies Project. All students, at Millennium, will be required
to choose a topic based on their grade level social studies curricula.
The pacing guide for each grade level will walk students through each week’s assignments leading up to the submission date in March. Teachers may provide
support for this project. However, the requirements need to be completed at home, unless your student’s teacher otherwise notifies you. Your responsibility, as a parent
or guardian, is to provide the necessary materials for the approved topic, research project, and all other requirements from your teacher. If you have any questions,
please direct them to your student’s social studies teacher.

All students must wear the provided t-shirt on the day of the trip, and must be worn at all times. Students may wear any shorts or pants, but they must comply with the dress code of Broward County Public Schools (BCPS). Additionally, students must abide by the rules and procedures of the BCPS Code of Conduct, Millennium Collegiate Academy, and those enforced at Sea World. Failure to follow these rules will result in disciplinary action upon return to school. We expect that all students will be outstanding representatives of the Millennium Collegiate Academy. Students must fulfill all school obligations before attending the trip.
