Homeboyz: A Brief Background
• Homeboyz Entertainment is Kenya’s most recognizable entertainment brand, having started in the mid-90’s.
• Homeboyz operations currently span into DJ Training, event management, into DJ Training, event management, experiential marketing and radio and web broadcasting.
• The Homeboyz association with rugby in Kenya has consistently spanned over 15 years
Homeboyz RFC: The Humble Origins
The rugby team, Homeboyz RFC was founded in early 2009.
This was a result of the perceived need in the market to accommodate the younger players who felt that they were not being given enough opportunities to play competitive rugby.
Homeboyz Entertainment responded to this by creating a sporting platform for youth empowerment and development.
Homeboyz RFC is also the only rugby team in East and Central Africa funded by a local entertainment company.

• As a start-up team in 2009, Homeboyz RFC
was initially placed in the lower-tier Eric
Shirley Shield.

1. Branding at Home Pitch
• The team has recently relocated to the more accessible Ligi Ndogo Grounds, adjacent to RFUEA Grounds, Nairobi.
• This will serve at the training grounds as well as the home pitch.the home pitch.

Rugby dresses are the new ‘cool’ for female fans and are a great way for a girl to represent her team!

• Our aim in 2011 is to ensure that each individual player on the team becomes a youth celebrity in their own right.
• As such we will be giving them a high intensity rota of public appearances, media interviews and social media media interviews and social media support to ensure they sell the team brand.
• This will also see them make school, college, office and media house visits.
• These are key branding opportunities for our sponsors.
6. Team Shuttle Activities
