Greetings Fellow unionitesYou will not want to miss Homecoming 2013. Special events
are planned for all of those who call Union University home,
whether you attended class at the downtown campus or you
graduated from the current campus north of I-40. Bring your
family to campus for the weekend and enjoy everything from
ice skating to basketball games while you see how your favorite
student organizations have grown and visit with past classmates.

Friday, February 2250-Year Reunion Reception and Registration9 a.m. POwell TheaTerJoin members of the Class of 1963 for a light breakfast reception as you register for the weekend and prepare to be recognized in the Homecoming Chapel service.
Homecoming Chapel10 a.m. G.m. SavaGe memOrial ChaPelMake plans to be here for the official kick-off of Homecoming weekend as we worship together in a service led by Phil Jett, Pastor Emeritus of Jackson’s Englewood Baptist Church. We will also be celebrating the lives of those who will be returning to campus to mark their 50th Class Reunion.
Union University Baseball vs Bethel University4 P.m. UNiON BaSeBall FieldSCome and cheer on your Union University Bulldogs as they take on the Bethel University Wildcats.
Computer Science Department Reunion 5–8 P.m. lamBda Chi alPha hOUSeIt has been several years since the CS department has had a formal reunion event during Homecoming. With so many alumni living in West Tennessee, we hope you can come and visit with former classmates, faculty and current students. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served.
Union University Family Winter Wonderland5–9 P.m. The GreaT lawNJoin us for Union University’s Winter Wonderland! We will have ice skating, snow falling, family photos in our Union University snow globe and hot chocolate for the entire family. Bundle up and join the entire Union University community for some winter fun sponsored by the Office of University Relations. *Ice skating will take place no matter the temperature. Snow will be determined by the weather.
50-Year Dinner in the Bowld6 P.m. BOwld COmmONSA time for the Class of 1963 and friends to gather to tell stories of their time at Union and enjoy a time of fellowship over a meal together. Cost: $15 per person.
Saturday, February 23Run for a Wish8:30 a.m. miller TOwerJoin the ladies of Chi Omega for a fun run 5K! All proceeds will go to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Registration fee will be $5 for current college students and anyone under the age of 18 and $10 for adults. Registration will start at 7:45 and race time is at 8:30. You can register online at uu.edu/events/homecoming.
50-Year Brunch9:30 a.m. The BOwld COmmONSAny and all Union Alums that are celebrating 50 years or more from graduation are welcome to join this celebration. It will be a fun time of food and fellowship as you reminisce about your time at Union and meet some of the Alumni Relations staff.
Campus Tour11 a.m. leaviNG FrOm The BOwld COmmONS Have you seen Providence Hall or visited a new dorm room? Now is your chance. Make plans to see the campus through the eyes of some of our current students as they lead your tour around campus. RSVP to [email protected] to reserve your tour spot by February 15.
Homecoming TailgateNOON–2 P.m. PaC hallwayCome and see your school or department or maybe your favorite organization as they showcase what is going on this year on campus. There will be information and activities for the whole family.

PrOvideNCe hallMembers from the Union University School of Pharmacy Inaugural Class of 2012 and their families will have the opportunity to reconnect with classmates, faculty and staff at a reception held in Providence Hall, which is home to the School of Pharmacy. Homecoming Basketball GamesLady Bulldogs vs Shorter University Lady Hawks2 P.m. Fred delay GymNaSiUm During half time of the game the 2013 Homecoming Court will be announced and President and Mrs. Dockery will crown the Union University Homecoming Queen.
Bulldogs vs Shorter University Hawks4 P.m. Fred delay GymNaSiUm During half time of the men’s game, the Presidential Cup will be awarded to the student organization that demonstrated outstanding service to the community. The winner will receive the Cup and $500, which will be divided between the organization and the charity of their choice.
