HOMECOMING2015CELEBRATION OF NATIONSCARSON-NEWMAN UNIVERSITY

The sun never sets on Carson-Newman’s mission. With study trips,

missions work, students on campus from dozens of countries and some

20,000 alumni spread across the globe, the Carson-Newman experience

makes a difference continuously.

In the last year, faculty and students traveled abroad to Haiti, Spain,

South Africa and the UK, to name just a few countries. Those locations

featured medical mission opportunities, a spiritual pilgrimage, service to

orphans and intensive church history study.

While students and professors explore and serve the world, scores

of the world’s citizens come to Carson-Newman to expand their

horizons. In 2014-15, some 120 students from 28 countries studied here

and broadened the cultural experience on campus and in East Tennessee.

Carson-Newman is a global campus.

We hope you enjoy the variety of activities throughout the week of

October 11-17. We especially hope you will help make our Celebration of

Nations 2015 Homecoming Saturday the best attended in decades.

See you in October,

Charlie P. Walker, Jr. ’01President,Carson-Newman Alumni Association
