DUES AND PAYMENT INFORMATION HRWG has a tiered dues structure

based on gross annual income. We use the honor system. Student membership is $30 Individual memberships are

$45 (< $25K), $65 ($25K - $75K), or $75 ($75K+). Couples memberships are an additional $20 – using the

higher paid partner’s income, select a base fee from the individual membership categories and then add $20.

All agency memberships are the same price: $115.

Individual and Student members are entitled to 1. Attend the HRWG Annual Meeting2. 1-year subscription to Homicide Studies, an

interdisciplinary & international journal 3. Access to the HRWG listserv linking

homicide researchers around the world.

Couples memberships include one copy of all mailings & access to the listserv & Annual Meeting for both persons.

Agency memberships include two copies of all mailings & access to the listserv & Annual Meeting for all interested employees.

Educational institutions are not eligible for agency memberships.

To forge links between research, epidemiology, & practical programs to reduce levels of mortality from violence

To promote improved data quality & the linking of diverse homicide data sources

To foster collaborative, interdisciplinary research on lethal & non-lethal violence

To encourage more efficient sharing of techniques for measuring & analyzing homicide

To create & maintain a communication network among those collecting, maintaining, & analyzing homicide data sets

to generate a stronger working relationship among homicide researchers
