Honest opions wanted.... IWG Haters?
Why are people so hateful toward IWG? Are they right about misleading or lies to sell watches, or are
they snobbish elitists that don't believe IWG can deliver the product they claim at the price they sell at?

the nail on the head "Ignorant".

The hate has been going on longer than I've even known who Invicta was...
But, they did lose some customers with the recent unrest related to a few pieces and the Swiss issue.
Still... HATE is a strong word and one that really doesn't belong in a hobby people do for fun...

Invicta and may have never even had one in there hands!Pure un adultrated FREAKIN IDIOT'S!LIKE
what was already said IGNORANT'S IS BLISS and in some cases CONTAGIOUS.IMHO

I've owned all sorts... Tags, Tissot, Oceans, Dievas, Seiko, Citizen, DB, NFW, Android, VE, Pulsar, etc.
I bet I have purchased 3 dozen Invictas over the years. The only issue I ever had was a crown popping off
of a Venom. And I cannot say that it wasn't my fault or not.
I think they're snobs myself.

Invicta has put a big target on their back because they move a lot of product. Other watch companies
wish they could that. It comes with the territory.

The only dislike I have towards Invicta is; too many great watches, and so little time...

My take on this is to be a Leader not a Follower and form your own opinion . Whatever your opinion
may be as long as it is yours then so be it , but do not just repeat what others say for the heck of it.
That is how I live my life whatever my experiences is that is how I form my own opinions no matter
what subject. JMHO

If I could pick one executive to have lunch with and learn from it would be Eyal Lalo.
Let the haters hate, let the buyers buy- I am in the latter.

Try going to the Invicta Watch page on Facebook if you want to see the haters! I used to enjoy looking at
that page, but can't stomach it anymore! There are some that must lead some pathetic lives where all
they have to do ALL day is troll around a page and make derogatory comments towards Invicta watches
themselves, or the people that enjoy them. There are also the few that feel that some how, Invicta owes
them the most expensive watches they make at some rediculously low price on the Sunday Run. I'll be
the first to admit that I have been more than disappointed at some of the Sunday Run's, but Invicta owes
me NOTHING! They don't have to have a Sunday Run....or a Thursday Run....they do it out of the kindness
of their heart. I, for one, appreciate the Sunday Run's, but don't expect them.
Also, those people that have time to worry about what type of watch I have on my wrist.....have too
much time on their hands!

I think that if you own some Invicta's then you have the right to comment on them. If you don't you
should not comment. I don't own a Rolex so that is why I am not at liberty to comment on them.

Unrest in the Middle East, nuclear problems and tsunamis in Japan, the economy here in the US.... I
could care less that a group of people are bashing IWG.

Yes, opinions must be derived from personal experience. To base your own opinion solely off
other people's experience is sad. I have had a nearly perfect track record with Invicta,
therefore I keep buying. For me to stop buying just because someone else had a bad
experience is, well, odd. This is why Nick, myself, and many others do not relate to all the
"hate" and vitriol that come out of some people's mouths, even on this forum. Ignorant was
one word used to describe the "haters." I suspect obsessed would be another word to
describe it. With obsession, there is a mental instability which comes to play. These folks
have long since gone from the objective to the great abyss of irrational babble.

Well said Matt. They remind me of an old GF that cant move on with their lives.I doubt if
they would have anything to discuss if it werent for 1 brand which most or all of them have
owned or own. They certainly arent true watch collectors. If I hated a brand as much as they
do I surely wouldnt create a whole forum based around that hatred I myself wouldnt look
back.I guess they cant do that. Maybe a couple of slander lawsuits would make them rethink
their actions.

Matt,
I suppose those negative people need to read, "Lord Of The Flies,"
maybe, if they get through the book, they might think a bit, about themselves. ...
I guess we have all seen along our path's, many people who wear judge's
robes, and have to judge and spread negativity, rather than just being happy for a
fellow man or lady,
who just purchased a timepiece, that sang to them.
Brand, is an, "identifier," to some for guidelines, perhaps, but, imho, they need to
chill a bit,
and just allow another collector to enjoy their purchase, if for $1.00, or much
higher.
I would imagine if they were at a wggt, and face to face, no negativity would be as
profound as in a hidden,
internet setting, allowing them the power in their own mind.
Human nature, tough to figure sometimes. ...

They are "haters" in the literal sense. I caught a glimpse of a thread about Christina Aguilera
singing the national anthem at the last superbowl. I saw how the thread took a turn and
folks were slinging around racial slurs like it was nothing. And to make it so bad, it was a
moderator that started with the racial slurs.

I look at this and smile, for every thing thats made for some unknown reason people are
gonna hate it do not know why, they just do, Watches Guns cars ect. you cant please all the
people all the time. I just ignore them and do MY thing and be happy about it. When Rolex,
Breitling and others drop their prices and give us 6 VP on shop where us everyday guys can
afford it and not have to save up for 2-3 years just to buy 1 watch then maybe we wont hate
them prices so much LOL.
