Welcome ReceptionThe Medical Alumni Association (MAA) extends a hearty congratulations and sincere welcome to its newest members: the MD graduates from the Class of 2019! These new physicians now join more than 5,300 MD alumni of Wake Forest School of Medicine.

There are a variety of ways to stay connected with both the school and each other, including:• Update the Office of Philanthropy and Alumni Relations with your contact information whenever it changes by emailing

[email protected] or by calling 336-716-4589 or 800-899-7128;• Reach out to fellow alumni in your new location — a list of area alumni where each graduate matched will be provided at the

MAA Welcome Reception on Monday, May 20; and• Attend regional alumni events and MD Alumni Weekend and engage with students and faculty through new programs, such

as HOST and Mentor — all of which can be found on the alumni website at www.school.wakehealth.edu; click on “Alumni” near the top right of the page.

The MAA Board, its Past Presidents and the Office of Philanthropy and Alumni Relations invite graduating members of the MD Class of 2019 and their guests to the MAA Welcome Reception on Monday, May 20. The reception will be held in the Green Room of Reynolda Hall at Wake Forest University, immediately following the university commencement ceremony. Each graduate will receive a special gift welcoming them to the MAA, including a Wake Forest School of Medicine Alumni lapel pin. Alumni wear these pins with confidence and compassion, both characteristics of Wake Forest trained physicians.

The color of the trim declares the major field of learning;
