Lenten Study 2021

Have you resisted, defied, or tried to bargain your way out of what you thought God wanted? In Why Easter Matters, Andy Stanley looks at some of the people whose lives intersected with Jesus in the weeks leading up to his crucifixion. Each of them had an agenda that put them at odds with God and Jesus. As you’ll see, there's a little bit of them in all of us! Why Easter Matters is a four week study and will begin on Sunday, March 7th (locations yet to be determined) and

there are several options to choose from:

KING’S KIDS UPDATE The materials for the second lesson of King’s Kids (Home Edition) have been delivered. The theme for the next two weeks will be Jesus Feeding the 5000 and the candy associated with these lessons will be M&M’s. A group of over 5000 people had been listening to Jesus all day long. The people were hungry and were a long way from a town with food. Jesus told His

friends to give the people something to eat. But the disciples didn’t have any food either. Only one little boy had packed food to eat that day and luckily he wanted to share his lunch with Jesus. Jesus took the boy’s food, prayed over it and the disciples then started handing out food to the crowd of 5000. There was more than enough for everyone to eat! It was a miracle – something only God could do. One little boy’s lunch became enough food for everyone to eat! The little boy shared his lunch and I’m sure if you had a package of M&M’s, you would share them as well. M&M’s are so easy to share and what’s great is that almost everyone likes a little choco-late. The good news of Jesus is also for everyone. There’s no need He can’t meet, no longing He can’t satisfy. It’s nice to share M&M’s, but more importantly, we need to share the good news of Jesus whenever we can!
