Summary

HopeSpringhasanexcitingopportunityforaprogressive,resultsorientedfundraisingprofessional,

asManagerofPhilanthropy.TheManagerwillprovideleadershipanddirectioninestablishinga

sustainablefundraisingstrategy. Theywillberesponsibleforthestrategy,planning,and

overseeingofallfundraisingactivities.ReportingtotheExecutiveDirector,theManagerof

Developmentwillensurethatthefundraisingprogramwillsupport,complement,contributeto,

andleverage

the

goals

and

priorities

of

HopeSpring.

Responsibilities

Planandimplementacomprehensive andsustainabledevelopment strategywitha focusonmajorgiftsandplannedgiving

Leadingprocessofidentification,research,cultivation,solicitation,recognitionandstewardshipofprospectsanddonors

Overseethedirectionofourvolunteerbaseoffundraisingstaffandvolunteers Overseethepreparation,planningandimplementationofspecialevent/thirdparty

initiativesasappropriate

Identifyandimplement socialmediaopportunities Developandmanagetheannualbudgetforfundraising

Qualifications

Diplomafromarecognizedinstitutioninbusiness,communications,salesandmarketingorarelatedfield

Minimumof 5yearssuccessfulprofessionalfundraisingexperienceinacommunitybasedenvironmentincluding:annualfund,majorgiftsolicitation,leadershipgivingprograms,gift

planningetc.

Provenabilitytosolicitandsecureindividualandcorporategifts Knowledgeofcurrenttrendsinthefieldofphilanthropy Knowledgeofandabilitytoeffectivelyutilizelocalcommunityresources Strongprojectmanagement,interpersonalandteambuildingskillsandademonstrated

abilitytoworkcollaborativelywithstaff,donors,volunteersandstakeholders
