The F Series Three-phase Hopper Loaders incorporate the latest technology in

vacuum conveying.

Their total reliability is ensured by high-pressure and maintenance free lateral

channel blowers.

Hopper Loaders F Ser ies

Vacuum units: reliability in contained dimensions

The F Series Vacuum units have the following characteristics:

> small foot print (floor filter included)

> absence of maintenance

> possibility of combination with one single vacuum receiver or integration in one

central material handling system

F 416/2, F 44/2 and F44with CF central filters

All vacuum units being part of the F Series, having power of 0.75 to 11 kW,

are to be coupled with material receivers with volumes from 1.5 to 140 dm3.

Material receivers having larger volumes are available upon request.

- mirror-polished stainless steel

- 360° rotation mounting flange for flexible positioning.

- accurate finishing of all weld-points (plasma welding in inert gas atmosphere)

- specific design that allows uniform descent with absence of jamming of all granules

- filter cleaning air exhaust port with stainless steel mesh protection

- three clasps guarantee sealing of closure

- hinged to the body for easy opening and access

to the filter (C2 – C10)

> Flap

- equipped with gasket to improve vacuum sealing

Filters

All vacuum receivers can be equipped with three types of filters, paper, cloth or stainless steel.

If the latter is selected the vacuum unit will be equipped with floor filter (CF1, CF2, CF3)

The CF1, CF2 and CF3 floor filters can be equipped with paper or polyester cartridge. Their cyclone shape design

guarantees proper and efficient powder separation.

The CF2 and CF3 models are equipped with:

> automatic filter cleaning, optional on CF1

> sight glass, to allow monitor of the quantity of powder in the collection bin

> filter clog pressure sensor, optional feature that warns necessity of cartridge filter cleaning.

Proportional valve

The VP Proportional Valve finds application when virgin and regrind materials are to be fed to the injection-

moulding machine. The mini keypad will allow set-up of the operating parameters for the VP.

Micro-processor control

All models of the F Series Loaders are equipped with a powerful micro processor control box, which is part of the

Easy2System project, the solution of Piovan in the field of resin conveyance.

All operating parameters are pre-set, so that the loader be ready for operation the moment power is connected.

The loading cycles are adjusted for optimal functionality. Regular operation and alarm conditions are signalled by

green and red LED’s positioned at the base of the control box.

The operation parameters of the unit can be personalised with the use of the Mini Keypad, which allows the

following set-ups:

> loading time

> VP proportional valve (to adjust proportions between

virgin and regrind)

> maximum number of failed material loads

> filter cleaning function

The mini keypad displays the regular operation and alarm

conditions signalled by the LED’s.

A serial communication port is available upon request.
