Using Insider Commitment to Potentially Increase Performance The level of insider commitment of a stock, that is the level of purchase and/or ownership of a company by its officers and directors, could be a powerful confirmation signal on whether to buy one stock over another. The Horizons Cdn Insider Index ETF (“HII”) is the first ETF in Canada that uses insider commitment data to determine which stocks it will hold. HII seeks to replicate, to the extent possible, the performance of the INK Canadian Insider Index (the “Index”), net of expenses. The Index is designed to provide exposure to the performance of 50 TSX- listed stocks that hold positive metrics of a combination of fundamental valuations, insider commitment and price momentum.
