Horses
By Tyler Henderson
Horses can be gray and black. Horses may live in a barn in a stable. Wild horses live between Columbia, Canada, California, and Mexico.
Horses eat shrubs, trees, different kinds of grasses, and even poison ivy so they are herbivores.
The first horses came to North America with European explorers about five hundred years ago. Horses eat poison ivy. Today, most wild horses still live in the west. Some of them also live on islands off the Atlantic Coast.
I got my information the book The Wonder Of Wild Horses the author is Rita Ritchie and photos by Michael H. Francis. I got my pictures from Animal Diverstiy Web.
