I am writing this letter to recommend Gazi Korkmaz for your programme. As an assistant professor at
Hult International Business School, I first met Gazi as a student in one of my courses, Principles of
Finance, in January 2015, and have been in contact with him since then. During this period, I have
gotten to know Gazi pretty well, and having spoken with him about his motives and future plans, I am
sure he is a deserving candidate for your internship programme.
Gazi performed very well in the Principles of Finance course we had together. He demonstrated strong
quantitative, qualitative and reasoning skills. He showed enthusiasm towards the subjects discussed
in the course and took initiative to make sure his tasks and assignments are done very well. He was
always timely and punctual and I was happy with his performance throughout the course. At the end
of the term, he managed to get an overall grade of “A-” which placed him in the top 10% of the class.
His dedication to the course and the effort he put into it was admirable in my view.
Apart from his skills as a student, I found Gazi to be a pleasure to work with. He has a positive attitude,
is a great team-member, and is very friendly and truly polite in all his encounters. I am sure his personal
skills, alongside his academic capabilities, will assist him in playing a very active role in your company.
Considering Gazi’s capabilities and skills in academic and non-academic life, his motives and success
in academia and practice, and his strong personal and inter-personal skills, it is my pleasure to
recommend him for your internship programme and I am sure he will be very successful in the course
