PEARLAND CHAMBER TO HOST TX DOT COMMISSIONER JEFF MOSELEY

Texas Transportation Commissioner, Jeff Moseley, will be anhonored guest at the November 14th, Transportation Meeting of thePearland Chamber. Appointed in June 2012 by Governor Rick Perry,Moseley is one of the newest members of the Commission. In thisrole,Moseley oversees statewide activities of theTexasDepartment ofTransportation. Prior to his appointment, Moseley was chief executive officerof theGreaterHoustonPartnership.Duringsevenyears in this role,heworkedonnumerous regional transportationpolicyeffortsandpartnered

withtransportationstakeholderssuchastheGulfCoastRegionalMobilityPartnersandtheI-69CorridorCoalition.Moseleyiscurrentlyemployedasabusinessandeconomicdevelop-mentconsultantwithCarlGriffithandAssociates. While Moseley oversees statewide transportation, he is very familiar with thePearland area, the growth and congestion it has experienced in the last decadeand theprojectedimprovementstoStateHighway288.
