An estimated 155,674 unique wireless devices consuming 79 Terabytes of
data were connected throughout the event.

Cisco Jabber: Allowed teams to engage in instant messaging, voice, video
and desktop sharing from mobile devices.
Success of Hosted UC
Deployment of 16,000 wired ports in a period of two weeks.
Laid down IP communications and a Wi-Fi infrastructure in 57 separate
sites to serve the needs of 10,000 athletes and more than 250,000
spectators and journalists.
“A lot of what we were able to do would have been much more difficult
and slower without hosted UC technology” Jeff Seifert, chief
technology officer of Cisco Systems.
