Hello everyone.
Well the end of another term. The weather looks like it is going to do the right thing and give us a very Spring start to the holidays.
Firstly I would like to thank all of the families that have assisted the Butler family in some way over the last week. They are most appreciative and pass on their thanks to our wonderful community. We all wish Bob a speedy recovery.
It has been a very hectic end to the term but a very successful term. Sadly we will be say farewell to Mrs Hammond who will begin at her new school for the start of term 4. I am sure she is going to missed as badly by the community and the kids as she is going to be missed by her colleagues. We thank her for the care and concern she has had for all of us over her time here and wish her well at her new school.
Next term we are going to try producing a fortnightly Hotline. We now have a smart phone app for parents to use to stay in touch with school announcements - Tiqbiz. If you haven’t checked this out please do so. Information is quick and there are options for parents to use that can make school communications easier. Teachers will continue to provide their own newsletter at the start of term and parents will receive a class email between Hotlines. Our Face Book page will carry more of the photos that we would normally publish in the newsletter. We will be really happy to hear from parents with their opinion on how our communication efforts are getting through.
Tomorrow we have a whole school Tabloid Sports run by the House Captains from 11am to 12.30pm. Students may wear house colours and parents are welcome to come along and cheer students on. We have a wet weather back up plan so this will run regardless of the weather. We will then have our final assembly at 2:00pm with children dismissed for the holidays at 2:30pm. Certificates will be presented to families who helped out at our August working bee. This assembly will also be an opportunity for everyone to say goodbye to Mrs Hammond.
Please note there will be NO canteen over the counter sales tomorrow. Canteen will resume the first week of term 4.
Until next term let’s all continue to help make Seville PS the best place to grow and learn together.

Victorian State School Spectacular
On Saturday the 13th of September we (Lily, Jasmine &Layla with Miss Scott & Mrs Garner) participated in the Mass Choir at the Victorian State School Spectacular. This was a great experience for us and we are truly grateful. We sang lots of songs including Funhouse sung by Jayde Gray, Imagine sung by Andre Sasalu & Lille Walker, Radioactive sung by Keanu and Brave sung by Imogen Spendlove. Some of our favourites were the Matilda Medley, and The Royals (vocalist group). We are disappointed we are unable to participate next year but highly suggest it to anyone who is interested in any way. We hope Seville Primary participate for years to come as it’s a great way to explore your inner star.
