From Our Visitors . . . When you enter the house you feel you have been personally invited to enter every room. The house was absolutely delightful, beautifully furnished and had the feeling of being truly loved by the family which makes it comfortable and inviting to tour. Go and be spellbound by the story of love of three ladies for their garden and the families who called this land their home. We have visited many historic homes but what makes Hills and Dales is the people. Our guide was a fountain of information and an absolute delight. She truly added to an already delightful experience and her insight made it come alive. Recipient of TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence The gardens have a wide variety of plantings for every season that follow the historical plan. The greenhouse is always gorgeous and fresh arrangements inside the house are stunning. The gardens are breathtaking and there’s no way to capture the beauty in words.
