Refinery saves nearly £94,000 by reducing fan failuresA refinery was experiencing an unacceptable number of critical fan

failures. Correcting these failures cost £6,144 each in parts and labour,

plus the enormous cost of lost production.

After an initial assessment to study the causes of failure, BRAMMER

recommended the SKF total fan shaft solution, which combined an

upgraded bearing solution mounted in SNL plummer block housings.
