- Only essential items and inventories are present at the places where they are required. No overflow, no temporary storage.
• Organization
- Everything is at its defined place, clearly marked, easy to find and properly labeled.
• Neatness
- All is neatly organized and maintained in good condition.
• Cleanliness
- Everything is clean, appears freshly painted.
• Measures/Scorecards
- Measures and graphics are visible, always up-to-date and actually used.
• Works Instructions
- Work instructions are simple, always updated, easily accessible and actually used.
• Safety/Ergonomics
- Safety, first aid and fire protection equipment clearly marked, accessible and functionally tested. Good lighting, ventilation and temperature secured, all work places ergonomically certified.
• Maintenance
- Preventive maintenance executed per plan & well documented. Performance measured and monitored.
• Ownership
– If you see something, speak up and say something! Take ownership to solve the issues. Leaders are present at shop floor.
• Sustainability
- Housekeeping sustained and improvements through regular assessments, measures & corrective actions.
