Overview of the Legal Process
• Contributions must be accepted through Bugzilla – Contributor implicitly agrees to Eclipse Terms of Use – Contributor implicitly permits us to use and distribute
their code under the EPL – Contributor retains copyright
• « Significant » contributions and third-party libraries require Contribution Questionnaires – IP analysis must be passed by Eclipse legal before
adding the code to the repository – CQs are managed via IPZilla (access is for committers
only)
