Dantran Dangerous Goods Training and Assessing services was founded in 2001 withthe purpose of creating value for our clients by utilising innovative training solutionsrelating to the transportation of Dangerous Goods Environmental and SafetyManagement.

Dantran is accredited with the department of Transport and the TransportEducation and Training Authority.

Dantran are Subject Matter Experts and part of the SANS working group onDangerous Goods 10229, 10231, 10232 part one, part three and part four,SABS 1518.

Dantran are also involved with training Government officials and have trainedmembers of the Traffic Department both on a Theoretical basis and Practical onthe road basis.

Members of Dantran have assisted in writing unit standards at level 1 and 3 for theNational Certificate in Transportation. We sit on the RFA (Road Freight Association)Dangerous Goods committee, CAIA (Chemical and Allied Industries Association)representing the SANS codes of practice for Dangerous goods

All Dantran consultants are registered Moderators and Assessors both with ETDP(SETA) and TETA (SETA)
