How will reading be taught?

Students need to read at least 25 books throughout the school year.

Students will respond weekly to me about what they are reading in their reading journal

Two days a week will be used for the teaching of reading One to teach reading skills One for reading and response

Students will recommend books to others and write at least one book review every nine weeks.

One larger project will be assigned every nine weeks
