SOME CURRENT GENERAL OBSERVATIONS on the need of
INNOVATION for Health &Homecare workers’ activities
#1# Health&home care workers should have a standardized activity and
standard work procedures to avoid occupational risks.
#2# Periodical tests for evaluating stress degree of health& homecare
worker if activity is within an organization with established rules.
#3# In case of private services with no standardized rules for
occupational risks protection, health&home care workers are exposed to
high risk affecting their mental and physical body in an irreversible way.
#4# Having a mobile application, at hand helping the critical phase of their
work, could be an innovative solution to be considered by either the
homecare service company management or directly by the homecare
worker.
#5# Artificial intelligence offers the so called chatbot, a software acting as
a neutral assistant with many answers to health care worker’s critical
question, with no emotion in making decisions or in offering solutions to
critical scenarios.

-Current Healthcare Chatbot Applications, such as:
Your.MD (provides personalized health information and relevant
products and services); Sensely (Virtual Medical Assistant avatar
integrates AI to recommend diagnoses based on patient symptoms
using smartphone); Buoy Health (delivers personalized and more
accurate diagnoses); SafedrugBot,(helps doctor ‘s access the right
information about drug dosage, guiding the patient in the path they
must follow); Florence (personal health assistant performs the job
of what a nurse would do during a patient’s hospital); Forksy
(assists in tracking calories and healthy eating habits);
Babylon(symptom checker that offers relevant information to the
user based on symptoms cross-checked against a vast database of
diseases, to offer an appropriate solution) Woebot (deals with
depression through cognitive-behavioral therapy ) etc. ;
could help theoretically and practically the health care workers in
diminishing their occupational risks!

Each region provided stakeholders (experts from government, ministries, health
care policy instruments owners, structural funds managing authorities,
foundations, research institutes (ITC and Geriatrics), universities of medicine,
technical universities, private homecare companies, elders associations,
healthcare insurance houses) for transnational workshops, national learning
events and high level final conference.

A12 Analysing the potentiality of GP on Quadruple Helix for Romania
A13 Building a viable quadruple helix for Bucharest city or other city or locality
functional for COP.
A2 Transferring and extending good practice projects to be developed by
regional stakeholders consortium for and within COP(TGP) 3 tasks
A21. Consideration of GPs in details and observation of legal aspects for the
transferability as well as the cost. Searching alternatives of the topic addressed.
A22. Identification of in the topics and building potential consortium for projects.

AGEINGFIT Conferences Track 5 Nice 28-29/01/2020DELIVERY OF INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS FOR HOME CARE BY STRENGTHENING QUADRUPLE-HELIX COOPERATION IN REGIONAL INNOVATION CHAINS
CONCLUSIONS#1# Innovation in health and home care is a global need, part of each country
national health strategy with the man as central beneficiary
#2# Health care solutions assisting entirely a health care system could be
selected from the wide range of results obtained by R&D&I systems in
interraction with SMEs using a limited number of compatible criteria for each
users’segment of the system avoiding the waste of research effort.
#3# In Europe, the policy instrument sustaining innovation in homecare and
healthcare through structural funds, operational programs, could very well
contribute to finance the need in projects with healthcare and home care
innovative solutions patient or medical staff’s issues. However, the
bureaucratic system for this funding made this opportunity non - attractive for
stakeholders in 2014-2020. Let’s be optimistic for 2021-2027 and use the
quadruple helix approach!
#4# The innovative solutions should be also sustained by business models so
that health and home care system, currently underfinanced, be profitable for all
workers in health and homecare system as well as for providers.
