How Can I improve my English with Music

1. Set a small objective for yourself and think about

what is the main area you want to improve. As it says

you can search for a type of music that speaks with a

lot of verbs or could be conjunctions all depends in

what area you want to learn that is more difficult for

you.

2. Choose the right music.

-Think about your comprehensive level and the style

of music you enjoy listening to. That means that you

have to choose singers that sings slow for you to

listen better and can understand what it says.

3. Listen to as much music as you can.

-Listen throughout the day and as many places as you

can. If you like one song and you want to learn it, listen

again and again until you remember the letter and the

pronunciation.

4. Pay attention to new words you do not know.

-Slang words- idioms.

-Listen first and then use the lyrics.

5. Sing along with music and practice the pronunciation.

-Listen for the sounds.

-Sing out loud. Do not be shy to sing with a strange

voice because the objective is that you practice your

English.

6. Repeat the song as many times you can. So you will learn about the sounds, pronunciation and also grammar.

7. Use the written lyrics for different things.

-Notice new words; check them in the dictionary, so you

will know what the meaning of that unknown word is.

8. Use and enjoy music in a social context -Make a music study group. -Sing karaoke in English could be a great idea because making that style of stuff you have a lot of fun with your friends and at the same time you learn how to sing with the correct lyrics. -Learn to play a song dance. -Dance.

9. Always repeat the process and make it a habit. If you

want to learn speak English you just have to search for

different style of music with singers that are

understandable for you.
