how do we gain understanding
DESCRIPTION
The lamp of the body is the eye. Therefore when your eye is good, your whole body is also full of Light; but when it is evil, your body also is full of darkness. Therefore see whether the light that is in you isn’t darkness. If therefore your whole body is full of Light, having no part dark, it shall be wholly full of Light, as when the Lamp with its bright shining gives you Light.”TRANSCRIPT

Message of Reconciliation
Torah sh’Bichtav (Written Torah)
Who hath ears to hear, let him hear?
“Sola Scriptura”
(The Scriptures alone is authoritative for faith)
(in His Name)
[Yah -hoo-Wah]
is the Name of the Creator.
is His Son
[Al-u-heem - ALHYM] means
"Mighty Ones“ or "Power"
means Set-apart, Pure.
(Qodesh) also means "Set-apart"
Raukh (Spirit) is the Ibry (Hebrew) name for His "Presence",
pictured as the Counselor, Helper, and Advocate, the One
Who "proceeds from the Father"
Tehillim 27:5
For in the day of trouble He will keep me secretly in His
booth. In the covering of His Tent He will hide me. On a
Rock He raises me up.
is for you too!
Scripture speaks of a secret place where we can simply go, be
alone, be protected, pray, and hear from Yâhuwshúa`.
Knowing there is such a place is a matter of faith. Going
back time and again, that's a matter of building a
relationship. You need not have an advanced degree in any
subject, need not have memorized Scripture from beginning
to end, but instead be aware the Yâ-hwuah of Y’sra’al has a
place for each Jew and Gentile who will open their minds
and hearts to Him.
Mt 6:5-8
When you pray, you shall not be as the role-fakers, for they
love to stand and pray in the synagogues and in the corners
of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Most
certainly, I tell you, they have received their reward. But
you, when you pray, enter into your inner chamber, and
having shut your door, pray to your Father Who is in secret,
and your Father Who sees in secret shall reward you openly.
In praying, don’t use vain repetitions, as the Gentiles do; for
they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
Therefore don’t be like them, don't you see that your
Father knows what things you need before you ask Him.
The truth in reality is visited in this secret place AND must
be shared by those who will live or else ... they will perish ...
in darkness.
It is written
Lu 11:33
“No one, when he has lit a Lamp, puts it in a cellar or under
a basket, but on a stand, that those who come in may see
the Light.
Tehillim. 119:105
Your Word is a Lamp to my feet, and a Light (aur) for my
path.
The lamp of the body is the eye. Therefore when your eye is
good, your whole body is also full of Light; but when it is
evil, your body also is full of darkness. Therefore see
whether the light that is in you isn’t darkness. If therefore
your whole body is full of Light, having no part dark, it shall
be wholly full of Light, as when the Lamp with its bright
shining gives you Light.”
With this in mind, heart soul and strength let us study
together in the Raukh
And now brothers and sisters
Come out of the secret place bearing light!
Who see it from afar. The Secret Place, here, shines a bit of
light so many can see from afar. The topics we have chosen
are addressed to Jew and Gentile together. We do this
because that is what the Bible does. This opens the window
to make more sense of what Scripture tells us!
In the secret place is plain language, something simple to
read. This is a mere starting place for deeper consideration.
Tehillim 111:7
The works of His hands are truth and justice.
All His precepts are sure.
Tehillim 111:8
They are established to the Age and beyond.
They are done in truth and uprightness.
Tehillim 111:9
He has sent redemption to His people.
He has ordained His Covenant into the Ages.
His Name is Set-apart and awesome!
Tehillim 111:10
The fear of Ya-hwuah is the beginning of wisdom.
All those who do His work have a good understanding.
His praise endures into the Ages!
Understanding is derived from practicing Yâ-hwuah’s
commandments. And gained by meditating on Yâ-hwuah’s
precepts.
Tehillim 1:2
But his delight is in Yâ-hwuah’s Torah. On His Torah he
meditates day and night.
The Scripture is the only fountain of all wisdom,
Yahuwshua 1:8
This scroll of the Torah shall not depart out of your mouth,
but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may
observe to do according to all that is written therein: for
then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you
shall have good success.
The Torah shall not depart out of your mouth, is pictured as
clean animals chew the cud, digesting what we can,
absorbing what we can understand into our lifestyles, then
coming back to the parts we could not comprehend the first
time. With His word in our mouths, there is no room for
gossip, useless communication
Remove corruptions of the Word from your speech, clean
up
Eph. 4:29
Do not let any corrupt word depart out of your
mouth, [instead if you say that word which is good towards
building up in time of need, say it in order that it may give
favor to them that hear.
or the names of pagan deities.
“Be careful to do all things that I have said to you; and
don’t invoke the name of other mighty ones, neither let
them be heard out of your mouth.
Meditate on it day
Muse: think and meditate about, with the additional aspect
of talking to yourself about it;
ask yourself,
“What does the Torah say?”
when you have a decision to make. Go find the answer.
Then speak to others also. This way it does not just remain
in one person’s mind, but inspires others to act on it as well.
Advance your march: or, make progress in your journey,
make your way successful, prosperous, or profitable. There
are many definitions of prosperity that the Church has
claimed, but which are not warranted by Scripture. The kind
of progress Ya-hwuah promises is Y’sra’al living in His Land
again. Other kinds of prosperity often stand in the way.
DALET
(Tehillim 119:25-32)
The dalet. the poor man, receives charity from the rich man, the Gimel. The
word dalet means "door." The door stands in the opening of the house, the
beyt. In the Zohar, dalet is read as "that has nothing [d'leit] of her own." This
expresses the property of the lowest of the Divine Emanations, the sefirah of
malchut, "kingdom," which has no light other than that which it receives
from the higher sefirot. In man's service of Ya-hwuah, the dalet characterizes
"shiflut," "lowliness," the consciousness of possessing nothing of one's own.
Together with the awareness of one's own power of free choice, one must be
aware that He gives you the power to achieve success, and not to think, Ya-
hwuah forbid, that one's accomplishments are "my power and the strength of
my hand." Any achievement in this world, particularly the performance of a
mitzvah, the fulfillment of Yâ-hwuah’s will, depends upon Divine aid. This is
especially true in one's struggle with his evil inclination, whether it be
manifest as external passion, stubborn resistance to accepting the yoke of
Heaven, or laziness, apathy, and the like. As our Sages teach:
"If not for Yâ-hwuah’s help he [man] would not have been able to
overcome it [the evil inclination]."
The Talmud describes a situation where one man is carrying a heavy object
and another man appears to be helping him by placing his hands under the
object, when in truth the first man is carrying all the weight. The second man
is referred to as "a merely apparent helper." So are we, explains the Ba'al Shem
Tov, in relation to Ya-hwuah. Ultimately, all one's strength comes from
Above. Free choice is no more than the expression of one's will to
participate, as it were, in the Divine act. One merely places one's hands under
the weight carried exclusively by Ya-hwuah.
"For to You, Ya-hwuah, is kindness, for You pay man in accordance with his
deed." The Ba'al Shem Tov observes: Just payment in accordance with one's
deed is not an act of kindness (chesed), but rather one of judgment (din)!
He answers: "in accordance with one's deed," can be read "as though the deed
is his." Thus Yâ-hwuah’s ultimate kindness is His enclothing the "undeserved"
reward in the guise of deservedness, so as not to shame the receiver. The
Name of Ya-hwuah in this verse is Adnut, the letters of which also spell in
Hebrew dina, "judgment," implying the Divine guise of judgment, through
which Yâ-hwuah’s kindness (chesed) is most fully expressed. The Zohar reads
chesed as chas d’leit, "having compassion [on] the dalet," i.e. he who
possesses nothing of his own.
In regard to an arrogant person Ya-hwuah says: "I and he cannot dwell
together." The door to Yâ-hwuah’s house allows for the humble of spirit to
enter. The door itself, the dalet, is the property of humility and lowliness, as
explained above. The dalet is also the initial letter of the word dirah, "dwelling
place," as in the phrase "[Yâ-hwuah’s] dwelling place below." Thus the full
meaning of the dalet is the door through which the humble enter into the
realization of Yâ-hwuah’s dwelling place below.
DALET
The 119 Tehillim carries the 22 letters of all creation,
Tehillim (dalet) 119:25
My being is laid low in the dust.
Revive me according to Your Word!
119:26
I declared my ways, and You answered me.
Teach me Your statutes.
119:27
Let me understand the teaching of Your precepts!
Then I will meditate on Your wondrous works.
119:28
My being is weary with sorrow:
strengthen me according to Your Word.
119:29
Guard me from the way of deceit.
And favor me with Your Torah!
119:30
I have chosen the Way of Truth.
I have set Your ordinances before me.
119:31
I cling to Your statutes, O Ya-hwuah.
Don’t let me be disappointed.
119:32
I run in the path of Your Commandments,
for You have set my heart free.
By reaching out our hands for His Commandments, we
show our love for him.
He gives us FREEDOM to CHOICE, to LIVE by his WORD
Mattiyahu 4:4.
But Yâhuwshúa` responding, said, „It has been written,
That the human lives not on the bread by itself, because the
human lives on everything come from the mouth of Yâ-
hwuah:’
By admitting that he is only a man, though anointed for a
special position, he shuts the enemy down, because he will
not play his game. Notice the pun on the Hebrew definition
of “wilderness” (midbar) as “the place of words”. One of
those words was that everyone fast on Yom Kippur (the
40th of the days especially devoted to repentance), so he
had to at least wait until the day was over to eat. So he will
not use his position to do his own will even when hungry.
Whoever he is, he knows he is not to be about his own
hungers but about Yâ-hwuah’s word. The purpose of the
wilderness is to learn to eat what Yâ-hwuah actually provides
(v. 11), not be our own provision. The Shem Tov version
includes only the first phrase of the quote, a common
Hebrew style of allusion to the whole.
Deuteronomy 8: 3
He humbled you, and allowed you to hunger, and fed you
with manna, which you didn’t know, neither did your
father’s know; that He might make you know that man
does not live by bread only, but by every Word that
proceeds out of the mouth of Ya-hwuah does man live.
Again, here is a test of whether we are being led by Yâ-
hwuah or not: Are we hungering for more? Are we being
fed by things we had never heard of? We would not have
paid attention if we were not starving, yet still we so often
looked to empty calories to fill our hunger rather than
accepting the true nourishment He provided. What we
walked in before was made by men for our comfort, but Ya-
hwuah gives us what we truly need. We must not get tired
of it and, like our ancestors, want what we had when we
were slaves. Israel is not limited to the usual means of
sustenance. He provides through a variety of sources and
makes some of the wells dry up so that we will recognize
that He is behind them all, and not start trusting the means
rather than the provider. We don’t know how it will come
to us, but what we need is always there. This keeps life an
adventure.
Deuteronomy 11:10
For the land, where you go in to possess it, isn’t as the land
of Mitsrayim, from whence you came out, where you sowed
your seed, and watered it with your foot, as a garden of
herbs;
By foot: i.e., a garden on flat land (like Egypt) that you had
to irrigate, like the seminars so common in the church
about how to make yourself prosper. We can no longer
just go down to the Nile and depend on what our own
backs can do:
Deuteronomy 11:11
But the land, where you go over to possess it, is a land of
hills and valleys, and drinks water of the rain of the sky,
The rain goes to every part of the country, so you are not
restricted to the river’s edge as you would be in Egypt. If
the rain does not come, you will not have any crops. Ya-
hwuah waters this Land; we have to seek Him directly for
our provision and trust Him to do so.
(Compare v. 17)
and the anger of Ya-hwuah be kindled against you, and He
shut up the sky, so that there shall be no rain, and the land
shall not yield its fruit; and you perish quickly from off the
good land which Ya-hwuah gives you.
Many ancient prayers and ceremonies, especially at Sukkoth,
ask Him for rain. He stopped the bread from heaven, but
we still depend on the heavens for our sustenance. There is
no river in the middle as in Egypt that is always there for us
and we can decide to draw from when we choose. Now the
Land is not as lush as it was when they entered
(8:7),
For Ya-hwuah your Aluahiym brings you into a good land,
a land of brooks of water, of springs, and underground
water flowing into valleys and hills
Partly as a result of their disobedience in the past. But walk
by faith: it will be even greater one day. This Land is NOT
one that devours its inhabitants, as their parents feared. It
blesses those who live in it.
He then moves directly from speaking about manna to
speaking about what comes from Yâ-hwuah’s mouth.
When He told Y’sra’al how to gather the manna, He said to
do it, literally, “a word a day”.
Shemot. 16:4
Then said Ya-hwuah to Moshah,
“Here I AM!
I will rain bread from the sky for you, and the people shall
go out and gather a day’s portion every day, that I may test
them, whether they will walk in My way, or not.
This, too, comes from His mouth and as the manna fills
your mouth, Yâ-hwuah’s words are what is to fill our
mouths, not just community for its own sake. The Torah is
also likened to bread
The shortage of bread is like the hearing of Yâ-hwuah’s
words today:
Amos 8:11
Behold, the Days come,” says Ya-hwuah Aluahiym, “that I
will send a famine in the Land, not a famine of bread, nor a
thirst for water, but of hearing the Words of Ya-hwuah.
and if we do not know His words, we are not armed for the
tests. Like baby birds who do not know what their parents
are bringing, we have to trust Him to feed us what will
nourish us because it is coming from the right source. In
the wilderness, Moshe was also the “mouth” of Ya-hwuah,
and the Torah is still the test for all else that seems to be
from His mouth. Again He has been feeding us with things
we did not know before--like the Sabbath, His appointed
times, the kosher laws, etc. Knowledge that we have not
seen for thousands of years is now flowing from this book.
This is what we are to live for, not just to gain a livelihood
and fill our bellies.
Rev. 14:7
Saying with a loud voice:
“Fear Yâ-hwuah!
And give honor to Him, because the hour of His judgment
is come! And bow down in homage to the One Who made
the heavens and the earth, and the sea and the water
sources!”
Blessed [level] is the man who walks not in the counsel of
the lawless, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the
seat of scoffers; but his delight is in Yâ-hwuah’s Torah. On
His Torah he meditates day and night. He will be like a tree
planted by the streams of water, that brings forth its fruit in
its season, whose leaf also does not wither. Whatever he
does shall prosper. The lawless are not so, but are like the
chaff which the wind drives away. Therefore the lawless shall
not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation
of the righteous.
but the way of the lawless shall perish.
In His Name
Blessed be, in His name
'Ya-hwuah be with you.' and they answered him, 'Ya-hwuah bless you.' "
Be not blind to the truth And, hinnei, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Yâhuwshúa` passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Ya-hwuah, [thou] Ben David. An
Yâhuwshúa` stood still, and called them, and said, what will ye that I shall do unto you they say unto Him, Ya-hwuah,
that our eyes may be opened. So Yâhuwshúa` had compassion [on them], and touched their eyes: and
immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.

A servant in the Gospel Vineyard, though worthy of his Comfortable support while in the work. Should never preach
