2. If this is going to be a Christian nation that doesn't help the poor, either we have to pretend that Jesus was just as selfish as we are, or we've got to acknowledge that He commanded us to love the poor and serve the needy without condition and then admit that we just don't want to do it.

3. I was angry with my friend: I told my wrath, my wrath did end. I was angry with my foe; I told it not, my wrath did grow.

4. I do not think your magazine is any good; and I am astonished, in any case, that you should expect me to give things to a magazine which, so far as I can recall, has not mentioned me for years without misrepresentation or insult.
