*Kundalini Yoga teachers who are in the integrative healing arts find this training especially useful.

This course is an “open” segment of the 3 year International Kundalini Yoga Therapy Professional Training which is offered by the Guru Ram Das Center for Medicine and Humanology.

This course if open to all Kundalini Yoga Teachers Enrolment in the 3 years not required to attend Elements and Alchemy.

Japa K. Khalsa, Doctor of Oriental Medicine, is a Kundalini Yoga teacher and Associate Trainer in the KRI Aquarian Trainer Academy. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Northwestern University and completed her Master of Oriental Medicine degree at the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago in 2001. She is a gifted integrative Doctor, combining traditional acupuncture with herbal and nutritional medicine, injection therapy, energy healing and lifestyle counseling. Her work with all her patients and students emphasizes growth and transformation through self-care and awareness of the interconnectedness of all life. She is co-author of the book, Enlightened Bodies: Physical and Subtle Anatomy, by KRI. Japa currently teaches yoga at Sacred Kundalini in Santa Fe NM. Her classes bring joy and vibrancy to the practice through the power of kriya and her background in theater and dance. She is a visiting faculty member of Depaul University School for New Learning, and faculty for the GRD Center for Medicine and Hematology. Japa is also a minister of Sikh Dharma. Its mission is to bring the techniques of Kundalini Yoga as a treatment modality into the health care field. The GRDC provides specialized training to KRI certified yoga teachers worldwide,

so they may knowledgeably and safely instruct yoga and meditation to people with illness. It offers the IAYT accredited Kundalini yoga therapy training program which is taught internationally.
