The link between my music video and my ancillary task is strong. Both relate to Blink-182’s style and

match the style of the bands music videos, magazine adverts and album covers that have been made in

the past.

This is my magazine cover. As you can see I ran with the theme of having an evil looking rabbit that is seen in every one of their adverts. Blink-182 also use extremely bright colours that attract the eye. The title is extremely bold and like the others at the top covering the entire width of the page. I have also made the text curve in like the other adverts to give a better view of the rabbit and to add a three dimensional effect to the page. This magazine advert also relates to my album cover that is seen on the next page.

This is my album cover. It links to Blink-182’s previous album covers with the bright coloured shapes with a black or white background. The cover also includes the arrows from the bottom two album covers in the official covers section. I think this is successful because the general theme of the album cover relates to the style of Blink-182 and my magazine advert.

This is my album cover and my magazine cover side by side. The bright colours match on both pieces however the colours on the magazine advert match as complimentary colours where as the colours in the album cover clash and look more harsh. Both of these pieces have black backgrounds making the colours look much more vibrant.
