Why is it important to talk to

your child about Conflict?

Kelso’s Wheel

Kelso has nine choices to solve “small problems.” These are illustrated in the Kelso’s Choice Wheel. They include:

1. Is it a BIG PROBLEM? Is it unsafe, frightening or scary? Did you get hurt?

1. Is it a small problem? Is it annoying, frustrating but safe?

1. Use 2-3 Kelso’s choices before getting help from an adult.
