How Submit Essays and Projects in Physics

1. Open the assignment, either from edmodo.com or the class website (www.flippedphysics.net).

2. Complete the assignment in whatever program you wish, or whatever program is appropriate for the assignment. Be sure to include references to any sources you used, including websites.

3. Name the assignment using the following convention: LastName_AssignmentName.doc

4. If you used a desktop computer or laptop, go back to the Edmodo website and find the assignment. Upload the assignment directly into Edmodo.

5. If you used an ipad, you can export the file into the Edmodo app. But the exact procedure will depend on which program you used. See below for instructions for Notability, but otherwise see me if you are unsure.

How to Submit Labs, Problems, and other Annotated Homework (Notability)

1. Use your IPAD to open the assignment, either from edmodo.com or the class website (www.flippedphysics.net). (DO NOT use the Edmodo app! It won’t work.)

2. When you have the file open, click near the top right of the document; some buttons should appear.

3. Choose the “Open in...” button and select “Open in Notability”

4. Click “Create New Note”:

5. Click “Ok”.

6. Use Notability to complete the assignment.7. Be sure to rename your assignment to follow the class naming convention:

LastName_AssignmentName.doc. (To rename a file, press this button on the top left: and then press “Edit”. Ask me if you’re unsure.)

8. When you’re finished, click the “Export” button on the top left and click “Open in Another App”:

9. Click “Open Note In...”:

9. Choose “Open in Edmodo”:

10. Press “Ok” to move the file to your Backpack:

11. Go to the homepage of Edmodo, and open the assignment your teacher submitted:

12.Press the attach from Backpack button ( ), select your finished document, then

click “Attach”:

13. Select your “reaction” and add any comments. Finally click “Turn in Assignment”.
